Peppermint Protein Superfood Waffle With a Berry Bliss

This recipe served 1 serving and makes 3 small waffles or 2 medium ones. It's perfect for breakfast.

Nutrition per serving: 341 calories; 30g of protein; 12g of fiber

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of Orgain Organic Protein Peppermint Flavor

  • 1 scoop of Orgain Organic Superfoods Immunity

  • 3 tbs of Orgain Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 handful of fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 handful of fresh or frozen cranberries

  • Water (about 1/3 cup)

  • 1 or 2 tbs of Monk Fruit or sweetener of your choice

  • 1tsp of baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Add the wet ingredients first (eggs and milk)

  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix well

  3. Add the sweetener, the baking powder and combine well the ingredients.

  4. Grease a small waffle maker and add a small ladle of the dough. When ready, make the second and third waffles following the same procedure.

For the topping:

  1. In a small pan, add the cranberries, blueberries, monk fruit and water

  2. Bring to a boil until it turns into a jelly

  3. Pour on top of the waffles and serve.

  4. Enjoy this delicious meal!
